Brain Gerstenberger live in Iowa he is my brother in law. He is a wonderful man quick with witt and humor. He has terminal cancer. I set up a website to keep friends and family updated on his condition. Up until recently he was still seeking treatment. Now we will just shower him with our love and attention. I know he is aware of his family pedigree as I dusted off a book the other day that was beautiful a library bound book entitled the pedigree of the Gerstenberger family. My husband Dan is the 5th generation descendant of Heinrich (Henry) Wilheim (William) Gerstenberger married to Dorothea Maria. Information discovered thus far: They had two sons Albert & Charles born in Saxony, Germany 1901 & 1920. Records show Dorothea remarried to Christian Volkmer. My husband is the direct descendent of Albert. My time with the geneology has been limited due to graduate school. I hope to pick it back up when I have finished. |
